Featured Work

My work explores the perception of abandonment and what that means to me. Attaching my own feelings with the spaces and places I've been documenting has become an apparent part of my research. These questions are considered when choosing the spaces I visit and document.

Connecting the sudden loss of a parent to the desertion of space has been my anchor to the work and allows for any questions that arise when visiting these spaces, why do we abandon space in the first place? Why am I so intrigued by these spaces?

I like to question myself and the documentation I gather to form a greater understanding of this phenomenon. As a painter I've allowed this work to take me to new materials and ways of thinking of painting and making.
